As ISAM’s Principal Consultant, J.W. focuses on providing banks and credit unions with
sound principals in the areas of special assets, loan originations, policy and procedures,
underwriting and risk assessment, and value creation.
BACKGROUND
J.W. is a banking industry veteran with over 25 years of experience working with both
large institutions and community banks. As a lender and market leader, he has
underwritten, originated, managed, and overseen billions of capital fundings in loan and
equity transactions. This includes all asset classes or commercial real estate as well as
middle market and lower middle market C&I transactions.
J.W. is a native of Atlanta where he lives with his wife, Ashlin, and children Ivey and
Beau. He is a proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the
Graduate School of Banking at the University of Colorado.
